Job Responsibilities

Minimum Requirements

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an ABA-accredited law school or equivalent legal education recognized for Indiana bar admission.
Active license in good standing with the Indiana State Bar, or eligibility and willingness to obtain Indiana bar admission promptly.
0–3 years of experience for entry-level roles, or 3–7+ years of relevant experience for mid-level and senior Indiana attorney positions.
Strong knowledge of Indiana substantive and procedural law, including familiarity with local court rules and filing practices.
Demonstrated legal research, writing and analytical skills using primary and secondary legal sources.
Excellent communication, negotiation and client counseling abilities, with professional judgment and ethical integrity.
Ability to manage multiple matters, meet deadlines and work independently or collaboratively within a team environment.

Preferred Skills

Experience in one or more high-demand Indiana practice areas such as insurance defense, healthcare, commercial litigation, family law, criminal defense, bankruptcy or real estate.
Background working with regional or national law firms, corporate legal departments, government agencies or courts within Indiana.
