Job Responsibilities

Monitor developments in corporate, securities, and regulatory law and update internal stakeholders and policies accordingly.

Minimum Requirements

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
Active license and good standing with at least one state bar, often in the jurisdiction where the employer operates.
1–3 years of corporate or transactional experience for entry-level and junior associate roles; 4–8+ years for mid-level and senior positions.
Foundational experience in mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, securities, or general corporate counseling gained at a law firm or in-house legal department.
Strong legal research, drafting, and contract negotiation skills, with attention to detail and deal management capabilities.
Ability to communicate complex legal concepts clearly to business stakeholders and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
