Job Responsibilities

Represent clients in Florida state and federal courts, mediations, and arbitrations, including motion practice, hearings, and, where applicable, trials.

Collaborate with colleagues, outside counsel, experts, and support staff to develop case strategies, prepare for depositions and hearings, and support negotiations or closings.
Participate in business development, client relationship management, and community or bar association activities to grow the practice and maintain professional visibility in the Fort Lauderdale market.

Minimum Requirements

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited U.S. law school.
Active membership in good standing with the Florida Bar (or eligibility for prompt admission or authorized house counsel status, where applicable).
1–3+ years of relevant legal experience for junior roles; 5–8+ years for senior associate or counsel positions, depending on employer requirements.
